Suffolk County Transit (SCT) is seeking public input on the development of its Major Service Change Policy, Disparate Impact Policy, and Disproportionate Burden Policy.

Suffolk County Transit is seeking public input on the development of these policies to help evaluate future service and fare changes and proposed improvements to determine whether those changes will have a discriminatory impact on minority and low-income riders. A description of the proposed policies is available below. Comments on the policies will be accepted until January 12, 2018. Comments may be directed to Chris Chatterton, Principal Transportation Planner.

At the public metings there will be a presentation and discussion on the proposed policies. Interpreter services will be made available to deaf persons or non-English speakers, at no charge, upon written request submitted no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled public meeting.
